Water Off Due To Work Being Performed

Elmira Water Board Performing Work

Our maintenance crews are responsible for the ongoing repair, upgrade & operation of our water distribution system. This work may be planned or unplanned (due to emergencies). We do our best to notify all customers that we believe will be impacted by a shut down.

If you have questions or concerns regarding work in your area please call the main office at (607) 733-9179 or the maintenance department at (607) 737-8854.

Work Performed on the Customer Side

The customer is responsible for the service line from the curb stop (at the street) into the house and all valving and piping inside the home.  Your service may be shut-off for repairs on the customer owned service line or internal plumbing.

If you are a tenant please direct all questions regarding these repairs to the owner.
